Intelligent Access Controllers
At each InfoSpot™ location, a wireless controller is installed on the premises in an ideal location to ensure maximum coverage. Each controller has an approximate indoor range of 100 feet radius, outdoor installations have a approximate range of up to 500-600 yards line of site depending on obstructions. In larger locations multiple controllers may be present and tied together with a common wireless backbone, making a seamless user experience. The controller maintains the authentication, authorization, and accounting for each individual user and maintains the usage policies. Each controller can maintain hundreds of concurrent users.
